How does it work?

Distance Reiki works in the same way as if you were actually in my treatment room. I connect to your energy from my location and send Reiki to you at a time and date agreed by us in advance. All you need to do then is to be ready to receive Reiki; ideally lying down or meditating with some calm music and perhaps some candles...whatever works to help you relax.

If this is your first time with Reiki, or with me; I will call and speak to you before your session to explain a little about Reiki and how it could help you and at the same time answer any questions you may have, as well as discussing how you would like the session to support you (e.g. a physical/health issue, for wellbeing or just for relaxation). I will also ask you to send me a picture of yourself beforehand so that I can tune into your energy during the session.

On the day of the distance Reiki treatment, I will contact you just before the session starts so that you know to get ready and find some quiet space. As with any Reiki session, the Reiki energy will flow where it needs to go. Some clients will feel sensations or emotions during a distance session and some will not feel anything, just as you would if you were actually in the room. The main thing is that you will still receive the benefits of Reiki and be left with an overall feeling of calm, wellbeing and peace. Following the distance Reiki Session, I am always happy to talk about what may have come up for you during and in the days following the session as sometimes it is in the days and weeks after that we notice the benefits.
